The Malaguti Fifty

is one of the most iconic Italian mopeds of the 1980s and 1990s. Launched in 1974 by the Bologna-based manufacturer Malaguti, it soon became one of the leading models in the so-called “tubone” category, named after its distinctive large central frame tube, which also served as the fuel tank.

With its sporty design, lively engine and many versions produced over the years, the Fifty won over entire generations of young riders, becoming much more than a simple 50cc moped: it was a symbol of freedom, personality and passion for two wheels.

From the early models to the more advanced versions such as the HF, Full CX, Evolution and Top, the Malaguti Fifty kept evolving while preserving its unmistakable character. Production ended in 1997, but its legend has remained alive among enthusiasts, collectors and nostalgic riders.

Even today, the Fifty represents an important piece of Italian moped history: a small but unforgettable machine that left a lasting mark on everyone who rode it, dreamed of owning it, or simply watched it speed by on the road.
